The Greenway’s Thompson Lane Trailhead is located at  2240 N Thompson Ln, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

This is a multi-purpose trail so you will see walkers, runners, and bicycles along the trail.

We took the portion from the Greenway’s Thompson Lane trail to the General Bragg Trailhead. This path is an out-and-back run making up 3.0 miles if you either go past the General Bragg Trailhead to the canon ball monument OR take the trailhead exit up around the pavilion (for the restroom). This route is fairly flat with some small hills. This entire route is along a portion of the Stones River National Battlefield. Along the way you’ll see the country club golf course across the river.
