Blue Grotto Dive Resort

While some of the rules have changed over the years, I was first introduced to Blue Grotto with the Middle Tennessee State University SCUBA program in 1994. It was one of the final dives for the winter trip (semester ending in December) back then.

Once off the check / safety stop platform you can follow the line down and around a large bolder at the bottom. This drop will take you to between 100 - 110 feet depending on the day. So it is an Advance Dive. After rounding the bolder and looking back up towards the entrance on a nice sunny day, it is easy to see why it is name blue grotto.
